This is all deadly accurate. Men hate women. A very large group of cis het men despise all women. We’ve all dated a man who hated us. Some of us (me) have dated multiple men who hated them. No support. No kindness. No celebration of my accomplishments. I was there to serve and carry him. I could go on. It’s easy to see when we look calmly back with clear eyes and maturity. Patriarchy and mysogyny are woven deeply. You have hit exactly what it all comes down to. They need to control, harm, shrink, and diminish us. Whether they consciously realize it or not doesn’t change the truth.

I imagine that much violence directed against those who identify as women is by cismen who cannot bear seeing any weak qualities (identified as feminine) in themselves. Women die because of their self hatred.

I agree with everything. I think that hetero cis men also fear they might be approached by other guys they same way they think it is ok to accost women. Which goes back to your point, being a woman or be treated like a woman is the worst think for them
It's often said that a lot of GOP issues are projection, and I appreciate your articulation on this one. The 'protect our children' mantra from the same people who refuse commonsense gun laws? So, you want to protect children some of the time, on some issues, but are fine with the awareness that we are all sitting ducks whenever we leave our homes (or even, stay at home)?
