Happy birthday tomorrow! My husband and I are attending our local no kings protest. I’m thinking for my sign I’ll go with, “liberty and justice FOR ALL.”
Get to stay right in my town (Petaluma, CA) and protest with probably thousands others. We have a LOT going on here in Sonoma County; my only problem is deciding what I'm going to say on two sides of my sign. "Food over Guns" with Food --> gives life Guns --> steals life
Gabrielle, if you can mention that Washington DC is discouraging protestors from going there -- trying to draw attention away from the parade and toward other spots (Philly being the epicenter for No Kings organizers; Baltimore, MD, and VA all have plenty planned), AND to keep people safe from this heinous gathering of military might and the buffoon's henchmen.
A Happy Birthday to you, and here's to a joy-filled day! <3
Happy Birthday! (And I'm so sorry about sharing the day with him, ugh.) We are in northern NJ and have signs ready. I love the idea of just displaying signs in various locations around town throughout the day.
We have young kids too, one of whom is disabled. My husband is Hispanic and ICE has been mobilizing near us with mayoral consent for local police to aid them... It is hard to sit this one out, but it is the right decision. I am doing a ton of teaching with my kids, making signs anyway, scream-singing along with RAtM in my minivan, ordering books and "Ni Dieu, Ni Miatre" tshirts and stickers, and engaging in acts of service for two widowed neighbors.
My husband and I are attending a rally tomorrow evening in Salt Lake City. I was so happy to see there were many options and times to join in the protests. I’ll be making signs tonight. “So do ALL LIVES MATTER now?” Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday!! Flag Day was my dad’s birthday, too, and he wasn’t thrilled to share a birthday with the Melon Mussolini. Planning a quiet visit to the cemetery tomorrow to say hi to Dad for his birthday & Father’s Day. Will be supporting protests virtually - I hope everyone stays safe!!
I'm embroidering a sign and we will go to our local protest tomorrow. My husband (a 60+ year old former republican who is basically a liberal now) is just taking a flag. please picture an awesome picture of my sign I've worked so hard on. 😂
I live in Chicago. I made a Musk Rat sign for the Tesla Takedown a month or so ago that had a rat illustration on it and Musk in a scrolly script that intertwined with the rat's tail, it made it in the Chicago Tribune, I was so proud. For this protest I'm using the same rat image but I put Stephen Miller's face on it with scraggly rat whiskers and just the word Nazi in red. I figure if we can do to Miller what we did to Musk we can take the wind out of their sails. I was going to make another sign with an over the top ornate crown on it with only the word Nope over it but I got so busy I didn't have time to make it. It was going to have gold glitter on it, kind of glad I didn't get glitter all over the place. I'm into one word signs. Everyone I know says they're going to the protest at Daley Plaza at noon. I sure hope they don't flake out, hoping for a huge crowd.
I bought a five pack of gold paper crowns from the dollar store and wrote “No Kings” on the front of all of them and I intend to hand them out to friends I haven’t met yet tomorrow!
Just bought sign materials. Will definitely be participating in Anaheim and possibly one more depending on the timing
Made signs and heading to a peaceful protest near us tomorrow ~ lots of American flags, too ~
Happy birthday! We're planning to meet my brother in Daley Plaza, in Chicago, for the NO KINGS protest. Stay safe, friends!

We’re joining the Petaluma protest too! Love your anti-gun message
Say hi if you see me! :)
I will!
It's my husband's birthday tomorrow, too. He is not happy to share it with the current president. He'll be happy to hear that he shares with you!

I'll be at our neighborhood protest, love these sign ideas.
I have small children and am uncomfortable with protesting but I think we will need to make some yard art for tomorrow.

I’ll be in the birthplace of the nation - Philly! We respect the Constitution, it was written & signed here. No kings since 1776!
