In this newsletter: Painted doors, Ralph's graduation, my interview on BBC's Woman's Hour, the Rodin Museum, the antique bathtub we found, the Brazilian cover of my book, and so much more!
what a beautiful, full life--and always making time for pushing the needle in support of women. Thank you for inspiring the rest of us that there is enough time to do all the things that matter to us.
Cover: Better suited to Europe I think! I’m in Switzerland, and while my friends find the ideas inside interesting, they react with bleurghhh to the American fixation (or find a better word) on abortion.
Love the generosity with which you share your life. Also, congratulations on the expanding reach of your book - do you know the specifics behind the Brazilian cover changes?
Awesome work. It's really desirable to find an secondary alternative place for the few weirdo's like me that have a reticent approach towards debatable reasons ( definitely not designed for "my protection " as it's claimed) like instagram. Was really curious to see the projects.
If possible. If not, feel free to dump more pictures in the newsletter .
I'm curious if a canadian tour would be controversial or not so much.
I have given up all social media, and I have to say, about the only thing I miss is being able to follow you and your family on Instagram. This was wonderful to see today, though I wasn’t allowed to see everything.
Be that as it may, I’m much healthier no longer having access to social media.
I didn't realize the link I shared for Betty's reaction went to her private account. My apologies. I've update the link with one that goes to my account, so hopefully you can access it. Here's that updated link:
I love the UK cover! It describes what's inside!

Like why they chose to change the look? I don't actually know. Maybe they thought it would work better for their market?

I would be totally up for a Canadian tour! (I assume you mean book tour?) The challenge is just funding the the travel and accommodation costs.
I think the new tagline is right. The book isn’t mainly about abortion, but about unwanted pregnancy and men’s role in causing it and preventing it.
