I don’t know why I’m shocked. We knew about this weeks ago, but I’m still weeping with the official announcement. And I’m so deeply angry at how much my country hates women.
Thinking of you. Wish I could be with you and find reassuring words to offer. Be safe.
kisses,
Gabrielle
What truly enrages me is that I feel even more powerless after this week's decision and news. 1. I live in Mass so most likely, abortion shall remain available and safe. But this isn't about me. Overall a fetus will have more rights than a grown ass woman. 2. In states where you need special permission to carry a gun out in the open, like mine, the rights of some yahoo with a gun supersedes my right to feel safe. In Mass, we aren't called Massholes for nothing. Road range is a thing (I'm half joking here but not really). And 3. Trump and his cronies are so obviously guilty of sedition and I know nothing will happen to them.
I really want to become an Ex-Pat. I hate our country right now. However, I feel that I need to stay to fight for rights for my kids who probably couldn’t relocate. Please vote, Millennials and Gen-Zs!
