In this newsletter: An explainer on what's happening between the Sound of Freedom guy and the Mormon Church, a discount on the best French baking dishes, last chance to pitch for Alt Summit, what it's like having a kid at the end of the world, and much more!
So, I'm a slightly jaded UX designer struggling to find purpose in her work. I'm creative, or at least I was creative, and I desperately want to reclaim that in my life. Regardless of my job title, I want to create for myself, outside the computer, outside of information architecture and wireframes. I left facebook and instagram behind, as I did not like Zuck and his henchmen so I am not on socials as the rest of my cohorts are. Regarding the Woman on the Line piece, I listened to the podcast version of this American Life. It is moving and worth a listen.
