This is quite interesting. Someone mentioning Ladyhawke, just made my day. I love nostalgia, 50's - 80's especially, television, film & streaming. Leave me with a good movie or documentary & it's like leaving an historian in the Vatican archives.

I haven’t seen Ladyhawke but should add it to my to be watched list. Fun fact - American figure skater Isabeau Levito was named after Michelle Pfeiffer’s character in Ladyhawke! Isabeau recently won the silver medal at the World Figure Skating Championships in Montreal!

I don’t understand why those people so exercised about child trafficking overlook child marriage age legislation, and the relaxation of child labor laws in many states x the US. If child sex trafficking is wrong, why is it ok for underage girls to marry older men, or for 14 y.o.s to work in meat packing plants? Someone please make it make sense.

The best thing about the eclipse is the phrase "the path of totality." My son described my daughter's approach to managing difficult customers in her job as "choosing the path of totality" which, LOL.

Thank you for reminding me I need to rewatch “Ladyhawke” for the 20th time. I am one of four sisters and the film is a family favorite. I shed a tear when Rutger Hauer died as he was a such a dynamic presence in this movie. Michelle Pfeiffer was at her most luminous. Such a wonderful, romantic film.
