In regards to your NYT article share on rough teenage sex. Made me think of the Harry Styles lyrics the author doesn’t mention. “Cocaine, side boob. Choke her with a sea view.”
I don’t know how to square that NYT article with what I see as a parent of teens and all the recent study’s saying kids are having less contact/less sex. I brought this article up with my teen and her response …”it’s hard to get boys to even speak to you in person!…no one seems to be having normal sex!…no one is even getting a driver’s license!”
I can’t believe you’re about to only have one child living at home! Has Betty applied for any colleges yet? Is she focusing on one country over another?
Ooo, I love that book recommendation for Guy Kawasaki... and love hearing your personal story and history with him. My oldest is almost 13 - it's strange to begin thinking more in earnest of all the "older kid" things. Thank you!
