It’s my birthday. And all day long I’ve been receiving DMs and emails with reports from protests across the country and across the world. Your messages are the best birthday gift ever. Thank you.

We made a bunch of signs, and did some protesting here in France. Happily, my friend Kristen Howerton, and her whole crew, came to visit today, and our two combined families made for a big, enthusiastic group. Here are a few pics:

It’s late here, so I’ll keep this short. I just wanted to say thank you for taking action today, and thank you for your messages. I appreciate it so much. Taking action is how we combat the despair.
