We’ve been watching and loving Widow’s Bay too. I’m not a horror watcher/reader, but my husband says it pretty perfectly captures the 70s Stephen King vibe. I just love Matthew Rhys and Kate O’Flynn. We’re also liking The Other Bennet Sister. Happy June!
Voting for a gov in California is tricky. My partner and I are not crazy over any of them, but had to vote for a Democrat and looked at the polls today and tried to be strategic. (Dang Eric Swalwell!)
Your life is very full!! I really enjoy keeping up with the Blairs.
I watched the first episode last night and I thought it was very funny and just the right amount of spooky. Matthew Rhys is superb in his role. And thank you for the Celsius cheat code, that’s very useful! As for the state of the White House, gag. I vote, I protest, I scream and I sometimes stick my head in the sand when I just can’t process anything more. What else can we do? Mostly I mourn what we could have been and the destruction of the environment and the planet we are leaving for our children.
Oh, the Palais de Tokyo is hands-down my favorite museum in Paris, I go every time I'm there (if they are not in between exhibitions). Whoever does the curation is exceptional. Did you love it?
I've been in Paris with two of my kids for almost a week, and we've done fewer things than we had originally planned because the heat so sapped our energy. It was so delightful to walk out of our Airbnb yesterday into temperatures that seemed more appropriate to May! While we're not exactly *excited* for the forecasted rain, we're Oregonians and know how to deal with it!
With your endorsement i’ll definitely start watching. I just heard about it from a friend last night as we were swapping “whatcha watchin” details.

The Pantheon is one of my favorite - I think I visited 5 times when I studied abroad. Such a neat concept to think about.

The pride video is awesome!
When I was studying abroad in Germany in college my Fahrenheit-Celsius trick was 82-28 and I could kinda wiggle up or down from there.
